Workforce Housing Access: When Housing is Accessible, Employees Stay
Workforce Housing Access: When Housing is Accessible, Employees Stay
Wednesday, April 8, 2026 (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (PDT)
Description
Housing access is a critical workforce issue. When employees are unable to secure housing near their jobs, employers face increased turnover, productivity losses, and recruitment challenges. For the “missing middle” workforce (individuals who earn too much to qualify for subsidies yet too little to afford market-rate rents), navigating fragmented housing information and duplicative application processes presents a significant barrier.
Join Orange County Business Council on Wednesday, April 8, from 1 PM – 3 PM for a timely discussion on how regional leaders are addressing this challenge through the Affordable Housing Access Platform (AHAP) – a single front door to workforce housing in Orange County.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how AHAP streamlines housing access, its implications for workforce stability and retention, and opportunities for employers to support their employees in securing stable housing.
Space is limited, so please register below to reserve your seat.
