OCBC: Infrastructure Committee Meeting 07.16.26

OCBC: Infrastructure Committee Meeting 07.16.26

Thursday, July 16, 2026 (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (PDT)

Description

OCBC’s next Infrastructure Committee meeting will be a tour of the Prado Dam in Chino Hills. As part of the broader Santa Ana River Mainstem project, the Prado Dam will be receiving over $1 billion in upgrades that will increase flood protection for more than 3 million people across Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Without these improvements, severe flooding along the river could put more than 110,000 acres three feet under water and cause more than $40 billion in economic losses.

The tour will take place on Thursday, July 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please register to receive location and logistics details.

Please note that attendance is limited to 15 in-person participants (one person per organization only), and no virtual option will be available. Only registered attendees will receive specific meeting and parking information. Spots are expected to fill quickly, so we encourage you to secure your place as soon as possible.

Once we reach capacity, we will begin a waitlist for those still interested in attending.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with others in your organization who may be interested. Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
